After this match, Andre the Giant received a massive pop as he became a pop culture icon too. But, he didn’t stop there! ‘The Eighth Wonder of the World’ wrestled till the very last breath of his life. His final match was on December 4, 1992, in a tag team match for the All Japan Pro Wrestling promotion.

Unfortunately, the Giant suffered a tragic death in 1993 at 46. That was because his health condition finally got the better of his heart. However, Andre the Giant left a legacy, and after his demise, he earned a lot of money.

Andre the Giant, with this appetite, usually picked up hefty bar tabs while drinking. Because of this, it was quite possible that the WWE Hall of Famer could have suffered more trouble for his health conditions.

Despite the tragic death of Andre the Giant, he was one of the larger-than-life characters that pro wrestling has witnessed. Even though Hulk Hogan defeated him at WrestleMania 3, it was the spotlight of the Giant.
