In the realm of professional wrestling, Hulk Hogan is not completely adored. Besides his hardcore fans, Hogan also has his critics, including The Iron Sheik, Macho Man Randy Savage, and a few others. And another one of them was Scott Steiner, with whom Hogan hasn’t always gotten along.
The rivalry between the two reached such a pitch in 2015 that Steiner issued a challenge to Hulkster to engage in a $1 million duel, where Hogan only needs to slam him to win.

Steiner and Hogan worked together extensively in TNA and WCW as members of the New World Order. However, it appears that there have been some underlying personal conflicts between the two over the years.
Moreover, Freakzilla challenges Hulkamania to a $1 million bout in 2015 after calling him out. As he put it, “I’m gonna have an open challenge to Hulk Hogan. You know, He’s a little b***h. So I’m gonna challenge him. You know, his biggest claim to fame was slamming Andre the Giant. I’m putting all my money a million dollars more money, he can’t slam me.“
The Genetic Freak also explains the challenge’s straightforward rules, saying Hogan only has to slam him rather than defeat him. But according to him, Hogan wouldn’t agree, since he was afraid of him.
What prompted Steiner to challenge Hulk Hogan?
Later in the same video, Steiner was then questioned about what prompted him to challenge Hogan and whether their relationships had a long history. He responded by saying that he disliked the notion that Hogan had inducted Macho Man into the Hall of Fame despite the fact that Macho Man hates him.
