Hulk Hogan was the ultimate baby face of WWE and made Vince McMahon to mint millions of dollars during the first boom of the company. Hogan’s name and his face used to fill the entire arena with the Hulkamaniacs for every show.

‘The Hulkster’ was arguably the highest-paid professional wrestler for a long period. Moreover, in a career that spanned over 35 years, he earned millions and invested in various businesses and properties across the USA.

One of the most famous properties of Hulk Hogan is his mansion in Tampa, Florida. It is a massive 17,000 Sq. Ft. mansion, which is an 18th-century replica of a French farmhouse. The mansion served as the backdrop for the reality series ‘Hogan Knows Best’.

However, it seems the real estate market dropped a massive leg on Hogan, as he incurred a major loss in his Tampa, Florida mansion. Further, in 2012, The Hulkster sold his mansion for less than 50% of the amount the place was worth.

Hogan waited for several years as he watched the asking price for his Bel-air mansion fall from $25 million to under $10 million. He finally tapped out by selling the 17,000-square-foot waterfront mansion for $6.2 million. Hogan and his then-wife Linda bought the land in 1992 for $2 million and built the house in 1996. 

The person who brought the farmhouse was Michael Galinski, CEO of America II Electronics in St. Petersburg, a global distributor of semiconductor components. He paid the entire amount in cash to buy this property.

The mansion included five bedrooms, eight full baths, and three half baths, a gym, a rec room, a tanning room, a wet bar, a hot tub, and a guest house. Also, it had a swimming pool with waterfalls and two docks on the Intracoastal Waterway.

It would have not been a simple decision for the WWE Hall of Famer to sell away his dream house. He had stated in one of the episodes of ‘Hogan Knows Best’ about putting his body through everything to build it.

There was an announcement a few years ago about the biopic on Hulk Hogan. Australian-Hollywood actor Chris Hemsworth is going to portray Hulk Hogan in a biopic about the famous wrestling legend. The movie has already created a buzz even before being in production.

However, Chris Hemsworth, who also portrays Thor in the MCU, is on the work of his upcoming movie, ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’. Hogan shared the picture on his Instagram saying, “My brother has that Hogan Pump on Jack, looks like he could slam Andre brother HH #hogansbeachshop #chrishemsworth”.
