The ultimate babyface in WWE and a great heel in WCW, Hulk Hogan has had a brilliant career in professional wrestling. He ruled the 80s, being the top star of Vince McMahon. Furthermore, he ruled the mid-90s as the top star of Eric Bischoff.
Hogan last wrestled a match in IMPACT Wrestling and since then he hasn’t stepped in the ring again. However, he has hinted at his return on multiple occasions after he formally retired from his in-ring career.

Recently, on To Be The Man #10: The Best of Hulk Hogan podcast Ric Flair and Conrad Thompson discussed the opponent for The Nature Boy’s last match. However, there is a rumor building about Hulk Hogan being the opponent of Flair in his match on 31st July 2022.
Thompson said, “Ric another week has gone by and you have captivated the internet. There’s so much speculation, unbelievably, I saw yesterday that people think you’re going to be wrestling Hulk Hogan”
Flair (surprised), “I didn’t know that you were signing him up yet.” “I think you would have run that by me. He’s invited. I’ve talked to him personally to come to the roast and come to the match but he hasn’t confirmed for sure, but I’m pretty sure he’ll be there”
When Did Hulk Hogan Start Wrestling?
Naitch confirmed on the podcast that Hogan has nothing to do with him in the last match. Flair jokingly said The Hulkster wouldn’t face him unless former WCW President Eric Bischoff booked the match.
‘The Nature Boy’ is all set to have his match at the end of July 2022. The match is at Starcast V Jim Crockett Promotions Presents: Ric Flair’s Last Match” wrestling event. Flair’s opponent is kept secret, but soon will be announced to the fans before the match.

Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair were two of wrestling’s biggest stars in the 80s & 90s of WWE and WCW. In total, the two had 12 major matches together across both companies in their entire career, out of which they wrestled in three televised WWE matches.

Their first match was in WWE in Madison Square Garden in November 1991. The second match was also in the same arena a month later in December 1991. The fans and critics praised both the matches. Moreover, everyone expected the feud to culminate at WrestleMania that year, but it didn’t happen.

A decade later, when Hogan returned to WWE and won the WWE Undisputed title, he wrestled a match against Flair. The No DQ match that went for 20 minutes was for the world title on the March 2002 episode of RAW.
