Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar are the legendary wrestlers who had already created an impact before making their WWE debut. While ‘The Beast Incarnate’ was an NCAA champion during his collegiate years, Angle had achieved a gold medal at the 1996 Olympics. Additionally, it can be said that of all the legends, these two have the greatest wrestling skills.

In a recent episode of the podcast “Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling,” Angle recalled an occasion in which, although being physically smaller than ‘The Beast’, he outclassed Lesnar.

Olympic medalist heard Lesnar’s response to The Brooklyn Brawler’s question about what may happen if they engaged in wrestling, which sparked the amicable off-screen fight.

Angle stated, “What happened was the Brooklyn brawler went to Brock and said hey what do you think would happen if you and Kurt wrestle. Brock said, ‘I would kick his a** because he is too small. So when Brooklyn brawler told me about it and I went up to Brock and said if you can kick my a** let’s get in the ring right now. [0:35 – 0:50]”

The Olympic medalist then revealed that he saw Lesnar and Big Show wrestle for real a week later. Where Lesnar was picking the 530-pound Big Show and thrashing him like a beast. Although being scared by what he had seen, Angle went on to wrestle with Lesnar.

He added, “What I did is Big Show was facing me and Brock’s back was to me. They were in the ring and I was on the ring apron. Big Show looked at me and I said get out of the ring and he said okay. And when he left I walked up behind Brock and tapped him on the shoulder. ‘I said, ‘It’s time to go’.”
