Triple H has been with the WWE for almost 30 years. During this time, he made a lot of friends. Recently, Triple H also became the Creative Head of WWE. He was also in charge of NXT until a sudden decline in health forced him away from his duties in 2021. But, this former WWE star believes that things would’ve gone differently for him if Triple H was in charge of WWE.

Eric Young is a star at Impact Wrestling who has appeared in Monday Night Raw for a brief period from 2016 to 2020. Although his character was mostly on the sidelines and he never got much screen time, too. He blamed the former chairman, Vince McMahon, for not giving him enough time on the main roaster.

While talking with Jim Alexander on the Reel Talker YouTube channel, Young said, “I went to a meeting with Vince to pitch him some ideas and I told him to his face, if you have a three-hour wrestling show and you can’t find five minutes for me to do anything, you’ve failed. You’re a failure. I’d say that again to his face because that’s what it is.” It was quite apparent that Eric Young was disappointed with how the company treated him. And his return to the main roster was almost impossible after that talk with Mr. McMahon.

When asked about the work he did for Triple H, Eric Young answered, “The producing, that was a favor to HHH. I wasn’t being used, I was being paid full time, so he said I think you’d be good at it. What do you think about trying it out? Well, I’m there anyway, so I might as well. (If Triple H had control at the time) Things would have been way different for me. I would do anything for him. I’d run through a wall. Help him hide a dead body, whatever he asked me to do. I respect him that much.”
