The Macho Man Randy Savage is one of the unique pro-wrestlers in history. Fans to date remember him because of his time in WWE. But we know very little information about Randy Savage’s early days in pro-wrestling. He wrestled alongside his brother Lanny Poffo at his father’s promotion of International Championship Wrestling (ICW).
Macho Man was a top guy at ICW and faced many big names there. Back in the day, kayfabe was preserved by wrestlers to a big extent and Randy Savage was one of those wrestlers. Many Wrestlers have said this in interviews and podcasts about Macho Man’s kayfabe.

Before the match, another wrestler, Eddie Gilbert, gave Adrian Street insight into how Randy Savage works. He told Street how Savage spits and gets coca-cola from the people and throws over them. Macho Man was just working his gimmick here.
Street went to Macho Man’s dressing room to confront him. He said, “They reckon we’re doing a program together.” “I said let’s get one thing straight if you spit at me or throw coca-cola or anything like that over me, especially when I’m wearing it in my gowns. I said I’ll rip your throat out and make you eat it.”, Street added.
Macho Man, with all respect, said he would avoid those things against him. Adrian Street was the only one considered in the industry who would bring Savage to his place.
