The dream life of WWE superstars is a myth

Though stars like John Cena didn’t demand any lighter travel schedule ever, it still takes a toll on many great wrestlers, including him. On average, the WWE superstars have to travel 3-4 nights a week in a different city each night. They also have to work on big festivals like Christmas day or anything of that sort. Throughout the pandemic period, the schedule got a bit lighter. However, it didn’t last long. They immediately got back to their old hectic schedule since live shows have allowed fans to be present. This is a potential reason for many big stars, like Brock Lesnar, opting for a part-time schedule. Cena himself also assumed a part-time role in 2016.
