“So I brought my Bone Crunching Action Undertaker casket, and I hid the ring in there because I thought there’s no f***ing way she’s gonna look in the casket. There’s no f***ing way. She’s gonna go, ‘Oh, it’s one of Matt’s f***ing toys.’ She’s not gonna open the casket. It’s not like she’s looking for the f***ing tombstone shovel accessory.” added the former NWA World Heavyweight champion.

Brosky did come up with a brilliant plan to keep his proposal a secret. And it seems like he was quite successful in his motives as well. Cardona, possessing a Taker action figure, displayed his fandom for The Hall of Famer.

The former WWE superstar did not come up against The Deadman in a wrestling ring. Though, he was involved in a feud with his kayfabe brother Kane.

Cardona has always been considered an underutilized talent in the WWE. He received a push in 2011, only to see it crumbling before his eyes. It’s only after he left the promotion, he got successful in Impact Wrestling and the NWA. Wife Green made her shock return to the Stamford-based promotion in the women’s Royal Rumble match. And there have long been speculations around that Cardona could follow suit.

A return to the WWE for Cardona?

However, an immediate return to WWE looks unlikely. But stranger things have happened in the business. A return for Cody Rhodes was seen as unfathomable by many, but it did take place ultimately this year. Cardona has definitely become a bigger star than what he was when he had left the wrestling juggernaut. It will be interesting to see if a return to his former employee is on the cards for the talented performer.
