Injury Updates on Nia Jax and Eva Marie Ahead of WWE Raw

Over the recent weeks, ‘The Queen of Spades’ has taken out both Eva Marie and her former tag team partner, Nia Jax. Recently on WWE Raw, they reported both superstars to have storyline injuries on their arms. Eva Marie is out with a possible dislocated elbow. Nia Jax is suffering an elbow posterior fracture and a dislocation of her left elbow.

According to reports by PWInsider, Eva Marie was backstage at SmackDown last night. Where we saw her wearing a sling all night because of her injury from Shayna Baszler’s attack.

Meanwhile, Nia Jax was not backstage at SmackDown. Word on the street is that she may be taking a long break, so Baszler’s attack was designed to put her off television for the time being.

Even though ‘The Irresistible Force’ will not be on television for a long time, she was part of this year’s WWE Draft. Jax, along with John Morrison, R-Truth, Drake Maverick, T-Bar, Akira Tozawa, and Doudrop will stay on WWE Raw.

There have also been a few new additions to the red brand from the blue, namely Zelina Vega, Alpha Academy (Otis & Chad Gable), and Apollo Crews & Commander Azeez.

WWE Raw to produce better content?

For the longest time, the WWE Universe had been unhappy with the content Raw was producing. Stale storylines with repetitive feuds and matches with the same two superstars were becoming monotonous.

Unlike Raw, SmackDown was producing better quality content. With Roman Reigns at the helm, the fans have been somewhat happy with the content.

With the recent shuffle of superstars, there is an increasing hope among the fans that the storylines and feuds will become better on Raw.

While some drafts were expected, others were more surprising, especially the drafting of WWE Raw Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair. ‘The Queen‘ got drafted to SmackDown, whilst holding the Raw Championship. This has left many fans wondering as to what will happen to the Raw title.
