But this WWE match of theirs not only disappointed the fans but also Kurt Angle.

“Unfortunately for AJ and I, it wasn’t the finish we wanted. This match was so embarrassing. It showed no traces of the real Kurt Angle. It was like the old beat up Kurt Angle with the quad injury, no finish, it was just horrible,” Angle added.
Kurt Angle and Styles have faced each other in some classic matches in Impact Wrestling (formerly known as TNA).
Thus, he wanted a proper ending to this rivalry before he officially retired from the in-ring competition at WWE WrestleMania 35.
How did this match between Kurt Angle and AJ Styles finish?
As per CageMatch, this match between Kurt Angle and AJ Styles ended in a No Contest after just over 2 minutes.
The match ended after AJ Styles’ WrestleMania 35 opponent, Randy Orton, came from behind to hit an RKO to ‘The Phenomenal One’.
