WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix recently talked about working with Vince McMahon and about how hard it is to be a commentator.
The Chairman of WWE, Vince McMahon, is a man of his words and loves perfection in every work. Whether it’s a backstage conversation or a promo in the ring or commentary. Everybody in the company looks with respect towards Vince McMahon with some fear of his anger.
One such person to witness this was Beth Phoenix during her early days as a commentator on the NXT brand.

Recently, Beth Phoenix featured in Ryan Satin’s podcast ‘Out of Character’ on the Fox network. In the podcast, she talked about her experience of working with Vince McMahon.
Beth Phoenix is a former WWE Superstar and a former Divas Champion. In the recent episode of Ryan Satin’s podcast ‘Out of Character’, she answered a couple of questions.
During her conversation, she addressed her role being a commentator on the NXT brand. She mentioned how commentators need to be ready for every situation during a fight. Also, she mentioned how Vince McMahon used to get angry with her in her early days as a commentator.
“It’s terrible, and I was so bad at it and I remember Vince like I would get busted all the time when I started like when I got to work with Vince in the production and him being like Beth look at the monitor you know and like a just kind of like learning that because your eye is drawn to the ring, it’s right in front of you where the noise and the action is not looking at the screen,” said Beth Phoenix.

He needs to deliver the best to the audience for entertaining them. Whether it’s a match or a backstage brawl or a backstage conversation; Vince needs perfection.
Although he gets angry on some points, we should not ignore the fact that the company has made its way to the top because of McMahon’s desire for perfection. No other wrestling company has ranked up so much as WWE is today. This is the recipe for Vince McMahon and WWE’s tremendous success.
