“It’s Tough to be a Performer”- Roman Reigns Gives Update on WWE Return and Battle Against Leukemia

Former WWE champion and one of the biggest superstars in WWE, Roman Reigns has been away from the action for a long time. First, he pulled out of his showdown against Goldberg due to Leukemia as Brawn Strowman became the short-notice replacement.
Ever since then, Reigns has not made his comeback to the ring and the fans are eagerly waiting for an update from the WWE Superstar. Recently, Roman Reigns showed up in an interview with TMZ and talks about his battle with Leukemia and about possible WWE return.
Reigns stated:

“A lot of people … they think that it was based off of my heath and the history of my fight against leukemia. Talking to my doctors and stuff, I actually am fine and my immune system is good. The drugs that I take to fight the leukemia, they don’t attack your immune system.”
Roman Reigns puts family ahead of WWE
Even though Roman can make a return he chose not to protect his family. Reigns explained:

“We just had two newborn twins, twin boys,” Reigns says … “They’re 8 weeks old so I had to make a decision for them…This bigger than me” — “It’s my family, it’s my children, they are my legacy. No matter what I do in this world, my children are gonna be the ones to represent my name and carry our name forward. So I had to make that choice for them, to protect them being so young.”

The former WWE champion made it clear that he miss putting a show for the fans inside the ring. However, he has decided to put his family ahead of the business. Reigns continued:
“I wanna be out there, I wanna get back to work, I wanna get back to normal but I just feel like I have an obligation not only to my family and myself but to my community.”

Taking about the potential WWE return, Reigns stated:
“I don’t know. We are just going day by day. Taking this thing how it comes. These are weird times. We are just trying to collect as much information and make the most educated choice possible something that going forward will protect my family and myself. But I definitely want to get out there and perform for the fans. it’s tough to be a performer who is not performing. But hopefully very soon”
