Jey Uso fought with all his heart to wrench the WWE Universal Title away from Roman Reigns. Along with the title, his wife and children’s place at the table was threatened by the new ‘Head of the Table’.

However, Uso’s loss at Hell in a Cell means he will have to face the consequences laid down by Roman Reigns.

Roman Reigns beat Jey Uso at Hell in a Cell

The Tribal Chief didn’t just beat Reigns at Hell in a Cell, he tore him apart, nearly ended his career, and single-handedly kicked the Usos out of the family. To stay in the family, The Usos will have to be at Roman Reigns’ back and call at all times. They will basically become the Tribal Chief’s new henchmen.

On the coming episode of SmackDown, Jey will have to face the music. Roman Reigns will be hellbent on ensuring Uso adheres to the consequences.

Roman was even backed by his father and uncle, Sika and Afa (the Wild Samoans). They acknowledged him as the Tribal Chief and Reigns himself tweeted that his actions were for the sake of his family.

Jey Uso’s future with the company is not in any jeopardy. The man is a great wrestler, and his character work has been nothing less than superb.

He has proven to be more than just a tag=team player. The loss might have more positives for Uso’s career than the kayfabe consequences that he will be facing.

One very interesting possibility could be the Usos joining the ranks of Roman and Paul Heyman to form a faction of sorts. The name ‘Bloodline’ sounds much better than the Shield 2.0 reactions from fans. Usos and Reigns have not fought alongside yet, but have been in opposite sides.

Reigns and the Usos first crossed paths in 2013 when the Shield defended the tag team titles in a cracker of a match at Money in the Bank. Jey Uso also handed Reigns his first pinfall loss in WWE. In spite of this prior record, Jey Uso will probably be doing Roman’s bidding for the foreseeable future.

This could delve into a possible Daniel Bryan-Bray Wyatt story, where the underdog overcame his evil masters and went on to main event WrestleMania. Jey Uso has shown enough of heart as a babyface to win over the fans and become incredibly popular with the mainstream WWE Universe.

For now, fans will have to tune in to SmackDown to see what the future of Jey Uso is going to look like after his loss at Hell in a Cell.
