Hell in a Cell got real with a brutal match between WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and Jey Uso. For those that watched it, you know how it got. For those that didn’t, you missed out.

Roman Reigns wanted to establish himself as the Tribal Chief of the Anoa’i family. Jey Uso was the only man that stood in his way and was determined to stop this rampage.

However, Reigns laid waste to his cousin, dominating the better part of the match. Adding insult to injury, “The Big Dog” did not pin Jey, but wanted him to quit. He tried different manoeuvres and brutalities but his opponent just would not quit.

Towards the end of the match, Reigns managed to knock out his cousin. Jey laid in the middle of the ring, unconscious from the beating.

Jimmy Uso, his brother, tried stopping the match and prevented Reigns from nearly killing his cousin. However, this proved to be the turning point.

The Universal Champion turned his sights to Jimmy and threatened to demolish him as well. Jimmy’s injuries would be the major factor here. He then locked his other cousin in a Guillotine submission manoeuver and had Jimmy struggle for breath.

Roman Reigns broke Jey Uso’s spirit in a different way

To save his brother, Jey Uso quit the match. Reigns won by “any means possible” and will remain the Universal Champion. He realised that he could not break his opponent, so he broke his opponent’s conscience.

Walking out, Roman Reigns was met at the entrance stage by his father and uncle Sika and Afa Anoa’i respectively. These two are legendary WWF World Tag Team Champions.

Roman Reigns did not enjoy what he was doing and made it clear to Jey Uso that he was forced to do what he was doing. This trial by fire had gone too far, but “The Big Dog” did what he had to.

The family does not and will not matter for Reigns as he continues his Reign. Now that he is officially the Tribal Chief, he may be in for a rude awakening by a bigger man, who may soon come to save the pride of the glorious clan.
