WWE Hall of Fame Undertaker gained a lot of people’s attention over the years because of his wrestling career. However, on Joe Rogan’s podcast last year, Undertaker caused a stir in the WWE universe by admitting to using steroids and accusing the current WWE locker room of being soft. Albeit, WWE Legend, John Cena, disagrees with The Undertaker’s remarks.

In reaction to Taker’s statements on Joe Rogan’s podcast, in an interview with Forbes, John Cena commented, “I could look at the economics of it and make an argument that between myself. And the large amount of folks that carried on the roster beyond the Attitude Era into the Ruthless Aggression Era and the Reality Era.”

“The fans of the Attitude Era certainly looked at our product as not what they’re used to, and it wasn’t. So I may have a bit of disagreement with Undertaker’s word choice because I don’t think it’s soft. I think it’s different.”

Undertaker made his WWE debut at the end of the Golden Era and the beginning of the Attitude Era. Wrestlers like Andre the Giant, The Iron Sheik, and many more had established themselves as companies’ top-tier wrestlers by the time The Undertaker arrived. Hence, it was widely assumed that, in order to reach the top, one must be a giant. Consequently, wrestlers used steroids to build muscle.
