WWE superstar and 16-time World Champion John Cena is one of the three professional wrestlers, alongside Dwayne Johnson and Dave Bautista, to make a smooth transition into Hollywood.

He is also one of the nicest guys in wrestling, having granted a record 650 wishes, through the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

He granted one such wish, which came from a popular television host, while promoting one of his films.

The incident is from 2018 when Cena and his Bumblebee co-star, Hailee Steinfeld, were promoting their aforementioned movie on The Graham Norton Show.

John Cena shows Norton the Attitude Adjustment

While chatting with the guests, Graham Norton, the eponymous host of the show, told Cena, “But I’ve seen you do a thing and I like your suit, but can you do the deadlift thing?

Hearing the question, The Cenation Leader got up from his place and mumbled “space”. He then proceeded to pick Norton, who looked mortified, but couldn’t stop the guest from doing so.

Cena smoothly picked up Norton over his shoulder as Norton spurted a series of “no’s”, before eventually saying out loud “wow” and staying calm.

The move is popularly known as Attitude Adjustment, but it ends with Cena slamming the opponent on the ground.

Luckily for Norton, Cena placed him back gently, as the host thanked him and called himself an “elderly gentleman”. Cena added that Norton is a “good sport”, as the crowd cheered on.

Big Show picks Cena in his Top 3

The 45-year-old is known to possess incredible strength and can bench press 463 pound.

Fellow wrestler The Big Show on WWE Network’s Table for 3 acknowledged Cena’s ability.

Featuring alongside other big men, Mark Henry and Kane, The Big Show said, “I get asked this question a lot, ‘who is the strongest guy I ever worked with?My tops are Mark Henry, John Cena and Kane, and not just because he’s sitting here.”

‘The World’s Largest Athlete’ then went on to explain his choice. “…and then Cena when he picks me up for the AA [Attitude Adjustment], I can order a pizza, call out for food. He’s so strong and stable, you’re like, ah man this is awesome.”

If a guy weighing 383 lb says that about you, you surely have a very stable base.

Meanwhile, Graham Norton might be one of the luckier ones to not experience the full Attitude Adjustment. Cena hardly lets go of his opponent inside the ring. Several heavyweights, the likes of Kane, Khali and Big Show, have been on the receiving end of the move.
