John Cena Picks Huge Win With Riddle in Dark Match After WWE Raw

It was a disappointing night for all the John Cena Fans watching from home as the 16 time WWE Champion stayed away from a TV appearance on this week’s RAW. But the fans in the arena got to see the Leader of Cenation as he fought in a dark match after the show went off air. Cena teamed up with Matt Riddle to face T Bar and Mace in a tag team match for the Kansas City crowd in attendance.

Matt Riddle performed for most of the match, but Cena made the hot tag and finished the work as the duo won the match comfortably. Cena ended the match by delivering an Attitude Adjustment to MACE, then get the pin to win. The bout, which only lasted close to 10 minutes, made the crowd happy as they wanted to watch Cena on action.

After the match, Cena and Riddle did a Bro off, which was similar to what they did on last week’s RAW. The fans also joined the duo and started chanting “Bro!” It looks like John Cena and Matt Riddle are getting along well and have established great chemistry between them. For WWE, Cena’s appearance of RAW means that The Summer of Cena stayed intact even though he showed up after the show was done and dusted.

The Summer of Cena and more

John Cena, working as a part-time wrestler for WWE, will be a constant presence as his schedule won’t be similar to a part-time schedule. WWE has announced that John Cena will appear on 15 shows this summer, including SummerSlam 2021. Formally called the Summer of Cena, this strategy from WWE is to bring in more crowds to their shows as the company is still recouping itself from the hard pandemic days.

The schedule released by WWE also suggests that Cena will appear after SummerSlam for a single show. Cena is scheduled to appear on Madison Square, which will be the SmackDown show after SummerSlam. After returning to WWE, John Cena has started his rivalry with WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. It looks like the two megastars of WWE will lock horns at the biggest event of summer, which is the SummerSlam 2021 for the Universal Title.
