CM Punk has been at the center of quite a few controversies in his in-ring career it. The man just can’t stay away from drama. That being said, recently once again, he became the center of everyone’s attention after his unannounced appearance at WWE RAW backstage.

According to recent reports, he was there to meet fellow WWE wrestlers and mend his relationship with The Miz and Triple H. However, not all believe that this is the case. Some stars have pointed out that it was a mere publicity stunt on his part. And a former WWE superstar is one of them.

He adds that if he wanted to bury the hatchet with someone, he would rather reach the person via a phone call, not directly surprise them with a visit. Then, he drags in Dwayne Johnson‘s cousin, Tamina, in his statement. Fans spotted her with Punk in a parking lot on the same day. He used her name to make a point in his tweet.

Certainly, the former WWE Intercontinental Champion meant this tweet as a question about the AEW star’s actual intentions to visit backstage during the latest edition of Monday Night RAW, which, by the way, the entire world is trying to find out. This is not the first time a WWE personality questioned his intentions.

WWE Hall of Famer questioned Punk’s intentions

Booker T, recently, in his podcast, confessed what he felt about the surprise visit. He was unaware of the news until his podcast mate, Brad Gilmore, a radio personality, broke out the news to him. After hearing about it, he felt completely annoyed. He straight-up accused Punk of trying to pit WWE and AEW against each other.

Ryback and ‘The Best In the World’ have a history with each other, and it is not a good one. The former not only despised the latter inside the ring, but he had contempt for him off-screen as well. Apparently, it was because he was the one who gave a major blow to his career.

Another superstar with whom he doesn’t see eye to eye is John Cena. He shares the same hate relationship with The Champ as well. Many times, he has blasted his arch-rival on social media platforms and in interviews.
