WWE’s Karrion Kross had a big match at NXT Takeover. His fight against Tommaso Ciampa earned him comparisons to Brock Lesnar himself! Kross gave his opinion on these comparisons in a recent interview.

He was obviously flattered. Comparisons to “The Beast Incarnate” and the man who ended The Undertaker’s streak at WrestleMania is a huge compliment.

In a situation like that, my own perspective on what we did, I think they are less important than what the fans have,” says a humble Kross. He explains how whatever the fans see is more important than what he sees when he steps out of the ring.

The fans’ comparison of Kross to Lesnar really brightened his day. “It’s important to listen to them and listen to what they are saying,” says Kross. “They are who we are catering to and all the comparisons I found very flattering and complimentary.

Karrion Kross made a stunning debut in NXT a few months ago. He is known as the only man to completely dominate Ciampa.

Such dominance is comparable to the likes of Brock Lesnar, who tends to have that same physical edge over his opponents.

We are in the age of change in WWE. All the older superstars we loved as kids are slowly being replaced by the newer ones or the ‘hotshots’. NXT is producing some brilliant talents.

Karrion Kross is part of a very talented NXT roster

With the next-generation superstars already being seen in the same light as legends like Shawn Michaels, Chris Jericho, and now Brock Lesnar, WWE has a lot of potentials that they can bank on.

Karrion Kross has fought his way into the spotlight. Therefore, it is no surprise that fans comparing him to someone as powerful as Lesnar has bolstered his morale.

I was personally flattered especially if you’re going to be compared to the greatest people in the business. It’s not a bad thing,” concludes Kross. He is spot-on in his words, it’s certainly not bad.

Just like recently promoted NXT superstar Matt Riddle, we can soon expect to see Kross on the main roster.

There is a lot that the other NXT wrestlers can learn from Kross. His perfect blend of showmanship, character and in-ring performance makes him a worthy candidate to be the next “Beast Incarnate”.
