Kevin Owen Reveals His Return Plans For WWE NXT

Right now, NXT is not just in the developmental stage but is almost the third WWE brand. Now, given that Kevin Owens was a part of NXT before, he wants the opportunity to return to the ring where his career commenced.

Any Superstar who gets a position on the main roster dreams of becoming the rising star of the company. While that is the same dream that Kevin Ownes has, he still wants to be a part of NXT and have an impact on it.

Kevin Owens continues the discussion with McMahon about NXT

Owens had numerous discussions with Triple H and Vince McMahon about heading back to NXT. However, there have been reasons why he could not make it back.

His return to NXT will certainly bring a lot more attention to the yellow brand, considering the mainstream appeal of Kevin Owens.

“I’ve been vocal about wanting to go back there because I’d love to help make it grow even more and help make it as big as it can get and make it so we have three brands people know about. I would love for people to be just as aware of NXT as they are about Raw and SmackDown. I would have loved to be a part of that, but some decisions were made that I had to stay put on Raw and SmackDown. That’s fine, but I would love the chance to go back.”

However, Kevin Owens is a Superstar who conducts himself with dignity within WWE. This is the reason why Triple H often discusses various aspects with him.

At this point, Kevin Owens wants to be where he can make the most impact. His goal is to make a difference in the ring and set an example for future Superstars.

Therefore, right now if the company feels he belongs to Smackdown or Raw, he will stay put there. Nevertheless, he will take the first chance he receives of going back to NXT.

“The ideal scenario for me would be for NXT to be viewed as a third brand, and if it’s not already, it’s pretty close. I’d love to be a part of anything. I love to contribute to SmackDown, to Raw, to NXT. I just want to go where I’m needed and try to make a difference.”
