WWE canceled former WWE Champion Kofi Kingston’s match at WrestleMania 38. The tag team match between The New Day (Kingston and Xavier Woods) and the team of Sheamus and Ridge Holland hit the scrap heap at the eleventh hour.

The primary reason would be that the WWE faced issues with the time constraints of the show, but nothing has been revealed yet. When Kingston could not have his WrestleMania moment, he took to his social media to share his frustration as WWE snatched his spot.

He tweeted, “To be in the business for an extended duration of time is to experience the highest of highs as well as lowest of lows. Yes, it hurts; but we take it, and we use it to propel us forward. #WrestleMania.”

Kingston, a WWE veteran, has been a three-time United States Champion, a four-time Intercontinental Champion, and a former WWE Champion in his WWE career.

In addition, Kofi is a significant attraction to the WWE because he has been a 14-time Tag Team Champion. So naturally, Kingston expects his rightful place within the WWE.

Will Kofi Kingston and The New Day have a WrestleMania spot on the second night?

It saddened Kingston as the WWE didn’t let The New Day take to the ring at ‘The Most Stupendous’ WrestleMania 38 Day 1. However, Kofi claimed he would stand back on his feet stronger and not let the company’s decision disturb him.

Given Kingston’s tweet, the WWE could look to include this match on Day 2 of WrestleMania 38 (the cards are always subject to change). If the WWE does so, it would be a welcome surprise.

Should they opt to not have this match entirely, WWE can look to incorporate this tweet in their post-WrestleMania storylines.

This could see the former WWE champion address the snub with an aim to be on the main card for WrestleMania 39 at the SoFi Stadium.
