Entering a major wrestling promotion like WWE is a dream of every wrestler and they work very much for it. Unfortunately, sometimes getting out of that promotion to follow another profession for an individual becomes impossible. Vince McMahon once stopped a gold medalist wrestler from entering in Hollywood cause of Dwayne Johnson.

The American Hero Kurt Angle had a successful run in his career as a wrestler. The Wrestling Machine even got inducted into The Hall of Fame, class of 2017 in WWE. But one thing Angle didn’t accomplish was an acting career. In the recent episode of The Kurt Angle Show, Angel referred to the time when he was offered a movie role.

While talking about his passion for acting, King Kurt revealed that he was offered a role in the movie Pearl Harbor (2001). But Vince McMahon stopped him from doing that.

Kurt Angle’s love for acting

The love of King Kurt for acting started in his childhood. He described in his podcast that he used to make excuses for going to theatre events. “In high school, I was a big theatre lover. “Back in the 80s, you didn’t go to the theatre if you’re an athlete. You kinda got made fun of. So what I would do is I would go to the theatre events with sunglasses and a baseball cap so nobody could see me. And I would also sign up for the classes to set up for the theatre.”
