Sharing Cena’s advice, Lynch stated, “One advice that he has given me is always be honest. And I think that is with yourself, with the people you’re doing business with, with the audience. And so once I listened to that no and the other no, and put everything together, it just worked.”

In addition, similar to Lynch, Cody Rhodes also shared the advice from ‘The Cenation Leader’. He stated, “He eloquently told me to be honest with myself as to why a crowd reacts that way, look in the mirror and if you feel you’re doing the right thing, keep doing it.”

The Miz, on the other hand, stated, “The no. 1 thing I always took from John Cena is he showed me what it takes to be the main eventer through media. The never say no attitude. John literally taught me that.” Similarly, Rollins also stated that The Champ showed him how to be one of the company’s top draws.

Additionally, Kevin Owens shared an interesting anecdote when discussing how ‘The Prototype’ influenced him. Owens added that he once told Cena that his son is a big admirer of his and that when he brought his child to see Cena, and he brought a two-page handwritten note for Owen’s child, showing the legend’s greatness.
