Dominik Mysterio hasn’t seemed to let his father be in peace ever since he made his alliance with The Judgement Day during Clash at the Castle last year. The 25-year-old star was at it again when he confronted Rey Mysterio during a recent episode of SmackDown.

Ahead of WrestleMania 39, Rhea Ripley was expected to face off against her WrestleMania 39 opponent Charlotte Flair at SmackDown. But t was Dominik Mysterio who came and cut a promo with Flair instead of his ‘Mami’ before Rhea and the SmackDown Women’s Champion had their short encounter.

Fans turned hostile as Dominik Mysterio went after his father once again

Dominik started by discussing the similarity between Charlotte and him being generational superstars. Dom went on to say how they both hate their fathers for not being there for them. He mentioned himself and Charlotte as better versions of their famous dads as well.

Moreover, Dominik didn’t hesitate to call his dad ‘a lot worse’ and even a ‘deadbeat dad’ who messed up his son’s life.

However, before putting himself in the same line with The Queen, Dominik’s foremost focus was to defend his Mami, Ripley. When Charlotte went on teasing Rhea by saying that she should give a second thought before choosing her as an opponent, Dom came out to defend her against Charlotte.

He made the fact clear that Charlotte didn’t have any right to talk like this about Rhea, who is the hottest and strongest woman in the industry, according to him.

Also, at the end of their conversation, Dom turned on Charlotte by hitting personal issues. He said that if Rhea would beat Charlotte in the coming WrestleMania, then it will be proved that her dad rightly called her ‘not good enough’.

As for Dominik Mysterio, he could square off against his father in the Showcase of Immortals. Though there is no official confirmation regarding a match yet by WWE. Fans could be excited to see the father-son duo wrestle each at WrestleMania, which will be a rare feat.
