“Ludicrous”: Dwayne Johnson Isn’t on Triple H’s Level Claims WWE Attitude Era Legend

WWE superstars Dwayne Johnson aka The Rock, and ‘The Game’ Triple H are the two names that brought magic to pro wrestling. When we look at the professional career of Triple H and Dwayne Johnson, they wouldn’t be who they are without each other.

The insane feud between the duo defined WWE Attitude Era. Over time, Dwayne Johnson and Paul Levesque, aka Triple H, bonded and did wonders in their career.

However, WWE Attitude Era legend Road Dogg claimed The Rock isn’t on Triple H’s level inside the ring. The WWE Hall of Famer Road Dogg and Triple H has worked closely during the D-Generation X stable.

Why did WWE Attitude Era legend Road Dogg dislike Dwayne Johnson?

When Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson debuted in Vince McMahon’s WWE, he quickly rose to the stardom and climbed the ladder of success. According to Road Dogg, The Rock’s success got better of him, and he could not keep his feet on the ground.

During an interview with Wrestling Shoot Interviews, Brian James revealed he never had respect for Johnson. The Rock’s popularity never impeded the WWE Hall of Famer, Road Dogg.

James mentioned, “I always treated him [The Rock] with extra disrespect, always. I made it a point to treat him with extra disrespect because I wasn’t going to allow him to treat me the way he was treating other people. And the way he acted and stuff, I wouldn’t allow him.”

During the WWE Attitude Era, Johnson’s stardom touched the sky, and Vince McMahon left no stone unturned to make him a megastar. The Rock cut incredible promos and was on the marquee of every pay-per-view, allowing him to put over any WWE superstar.

WWE Hall of Famer claimed Triple H was a better professional wrestler than The Rock!

Brian James, aka Road Dogg, isn’t a fan of People’s Champ. However, James couldn’t stop singing praises of Hunter Hearst Helmsley (Triple H) and called him the psychological mastermind. According to Road Dogg, Triple H was much more intelligent and better in the ring.

In the same interview, Road Dogg was asked about the difference between The Rock and The Game. The WWE Hall of Famer took no time to side with his close friend from D-Generation X.

“To put Rocky and Hunter in the same category is even ludicrous. Because Rocky says some catchphrases and Rock is a good worker, but he’s only as good as a guy he’s in there. He ain’t no better than everybody else,” Road Dogg added.

WWE legend mentioned that The Rock was a good worker; however, it would not be apt to compare him with Triple H. Dogg pointed out the difference between a good worker and a good wrestler. ‘The Game’ Triple H scored plus points for WWE Hall of Famer compared to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
