The Hulkster got married to Linda Marie Claridge in 1983, a wedding attended by some renowned personalities like Vince McMahon.

A few years down the line, they gave birth to their daughter, Brooke, in 1988 and just 2 years later, Nick was born. Their daughter has been quite vocal about her feelings, especially when it came to the Hogan family. 

Son’s accident acted as a wake-up call for Hulk Hogan and Linda

A few years back, Brooke mentioned the reason behind his parents’ split on record. As per her statements, the couple started to acknowledge the difference in their views after their son met with a dangerous accident. Nick was even booked on charges of reckless driving with serious bodily injury. 

Brooke said, “The accident I think really showed them that they just don’t view things the same as individuals and as parents. You know, so, it was just kind of like a wake-up call, I just think that all the stress of our life kind of made it happen sooner.”

Brooke on the stress by Hogan Knows Best

Apart from divulging about their parent’s divorce, the 34-year-old daughter once shared with People’s Magazine about the family’s frustration with the reality show, Hogan Knows Best. She said, “The reality show put pressure on us, it was stressful. It made the anger come out a little bit quicker.” 

The show was divided into four seasons that left a major scar on the relationship of the Hogan family. Even the news of Sterling Golden’s divorce came just 2 years after the TV show ended.

After Linda, the WWE Hall of Famer married Jennifer McDaniel in 2010, a marriage that lasted for a good 11 years. Hogan himself revealed it through a Twitter post.
