“Seth preys on the weak,” said Murphy. “He picked me up when I was down and at my weakest, he kept me around so I has his back. Tonight, the Mysterios had mine.”

Rey and Dominik Mysterio had a big role to play in what is quite possibly Murphy’s biggest win in WWE. Murphy walked out with Rey and Dominik flanking him on his sides. Aalyah looked on in wonder at her new beau as he fought his former Messiah.

“Seth has this vision of the greater good, but the greater good is standing right beside me,” he said as he put his arm around Aalyah. Rey Mysterio’s daughter has turned out to be a lucky charm of sorts for him, as he picked up a monumental victory.

This could be the start of a push for the former disciple

The romance between Aalyah and Murphy started off as a weird angle in the Seth Rollins vs Rey Mysterio feud. However, recent events have proved that this could a significant moment in the careers of Murphy and Dominik Mysterio.

Dominik has had his issues with Murphy and Rollins and initially opposed the idea of his sister being with his enemy. Now that allegiances have changed, Dominik’s opinion has changed too. He even took a beating at the hands of Seth Rollins so he could help his sister’s new boyfriend regain control.

This story could lead to the inevitable trouble within the Mysterio family, and even a small mini feud between Dominik and Murphy. As of now, WWE should capitalise on his popularity and give him something bigger.

As of Seth Rollins, he also should move on from this feud which has been dragging for months. He is part of Team SmackDown for Survivor Series, but the loss makes him look weak heading into the PPV.
