Nia Jax Becomes A Part Of Another Botch During Her Match Against Lana and Asuka On WWE Raw

Botches hold a special place in the hearts of all pro wrestling fans. Some botches are too funny to contain laughter, while some can be fatal too! Remember Sycho Sid breaking his leg because of a botched pump kick off the second rope? Or Kairi Sane being seriously injured thanks to Nia Jax?
While no pro wrestler does it on purpose, there can be several reasons that could lead to a botch. Last night on Raw, there was a botch in the women’s tag team match that took place between Asuka-Lana and Shayna Baszler-Nia Jax.

Invisible pushes Nia Jax outside the ring
Lana and Shayna Baszler started off the match. A few minutes into the match, Lana caught Shayna with a kick and tagged in Asuka. Nia Jax ran in, Asuka dodged her and well, the ‘Irresistible Force’ just kept going as if some invisible being had pushed her. All of it happened very quickly, but it couldn’t go past the eyes of wrestling fans.

We analyzed the clip a few times to find out why the botch happened and came down to three conclusions. First, we guess how the original spot was planned. It would be Nia running into Asuka who dodges her and hits a dropkick. Lana would then follow this sequence, pulling down the rope to send Jax outside the ring.

Lana may have pulled down the rope way too early, forcing Nia Jax to complete the move and the team-spot that followed on the outside.

Second, Nia Jax waited for only a fraction of seconds when Asuka dodged her. If she would’ve waited a few more seconds, then maybe Asuka would’ve connected with the kick.
Third and final possibility could be Asuka being slow to turn and hit Nia Jax with a dropkick. But a botch from Asuka’s end is something even we can’t easily digest.

If there wouldn’t have been a planned spot outside, we highly doubt if Nia Jax would’ve gone out of the ring like that! Anyway, we hope the next time these four women meet in the ring, there won’t be any botches.
