After a rather sedate start to her WWE career, Ava Raine, the first fourth-generation superstar in the promotion, is finally getting into the thick of the action. The Rock’s daughter made her debut in NXT, WWE’s developmental territory, in October last year. She was introduced as the fourth member of the Schism stable and has been with the group since.

Since the start of this month, the NXT star has been involved in a feud with a female wrestler who’s 10 years older than her. It started after she got attacked by the 31-year-old star at ringside. Following the latest NXT episode, Dwayne Johnson’s ex-wife and Raine’s mother, Dany Garcia, weighed on their recent brawl by leaving a shocking reaction on social media.

At the latest episode of NXT, The Dyad- a part of The Schism stable- locked horns with The Creed Brothers- a tag team comprising brothers Brutus Creed and Julius Creed. Together with Ivy Nile, the trio is part of the Diamond Mine stable in NXT. While Jagger Reid and Rip Fowler took on Brutus Creed and Julius Creed, Nile stood at the ringside.

Hoping to catch Nile off-guard and level their score, Ava Raine tried a sneak attack on the 31-year-old star. It backfired as ‘The Pitbull’ not only successfully repelled the attack, but managed to choke Dwayne Johnson’s 21-year-old daughter with a dragon sleeper.

Reacting to her daughter’s fate, Dany Garcia, a professional bodybuilder, wrote on Instagram, “Not my baby getting choked out”. She followed the Instagram story with a horror emoji. While it is not clear what her future role in the feud would be, Raine’s latest treatment by Nile surely didn’t please the businesswoman one bit.

The feud started after Ivy Nile jumped on Raine earlier this month as she tried to distract the NXT Tag Team Champions Gallus during their match with The Dyad. The skirmish between the two female stars forced the Creed Brothers to step in and pull them apart.

Meanwhile, the recent incident triggered a warning from Raine.

After the match, the WWE posted snippets from it on social media. One of which was about The Final Girl’s failed attack on Nile. This left the 21-year-old fuming. Commenting on the post, she wrote: “delete this”, asking the WWE to remove the post.

This is not the first time a WWE post left the 4th generation superstar angry. After she got jumped on by Nile, Raine was critical of the company’s social media posts and asked them to “make sense” of a tweet that she deemed was partial.

Meanwhile, Raine dropped a cryptic post on Instagram on May 16 with a five-word message, likely to have been aimed at Nile. Well, it might have alerted the 31-year-old as she evaded the sneak attack. The two female stars look set to lock horns in the near future.
