Finn Balor is set to square off with his arch-rival Adam Cole on the next episode of NXT. The two are set to have a massive battle to determine the new NXT Champion. This is truly a clash of the alphas.

The two men are equally matched, but I think that Finn Bálor will come out on top this time. He came to NXT to do big things, and this is his opportunity. I doubt Bálor will let Cole steal the win again.

Adam Cole just lost his insane 403-day title reign a few weeks ago to Keith Lee. He was decisively defeated, losing it all to Lee who became the first double Champion in NXT history.

Now, he wants to regain that gold that he lost not so long ago. The leader of the Undisputed Era wants to bring the dominance back and will do whatever he has to do to win it. It is unlikely that he will regain the title so shortly after his big reign ended.

Finn Bálor on the other hand is not someone to be messed with. The Irishman has proved time and time again that his short stature does not matter even a bit to his performance. He has taken down his fair share of Goliaths.

Adam Cole does not have a significant height advantage over him so he’s not much of a threat to Bálor. The former WWE Champion will look to be the dominant holder in NXT.

The new NXT Champion could not be decided due to a tie

Karrion Kross, the legitimate Champion, forfeited his title following a bad muscle injury during his match against Keith Lee. He laid down his title in the ring and walked away.

It was then decided that there would be a fatal 4-way 60 minute Iron man Match to determine the new champion. Tomasso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, Adam Cole, and Finn Bálor competed to score the most points.

The match ended with an epic last-second pinfall scored by Adam Cole to level his pull with that of Finn Bálor’s. The scores finally stood at a 2-2 tie between Cole and Bálor. Ciampa and Gargano had 1 point each.

The two Superstars immediately starting a heated argument as to who had won the title. William Regal then interfered to end the discussion.

The third fall will now be decided on the next episode of NXT, which is set to air on Wednesday night. We will see a new Champion, and my bet is on Finn Bálor.
