Triple H Reveals Major Detail About Upcoming WWE Draft

The grand transition of Superstars is coming up, and fans are giddy with excitement! However, WWE NXT’s fate is unknown. In fact, Triple H himself gave an update that conveyed his uncertainty.
According to Triple H, he has no idea about the black and gold brand’s fate during the WWE draft. While his assumption is that NXT won’t be a part of the draft, he isn’t sure.
Triple H expands on this with @SeanRossSapp and says just judging by adverts and promotion for it, he assumes NXT won't be apart of the draft, but stresses he doesn't really know.

Previously, the company sent out a tweet claiming that NXT will be a part of the draft. However, that tweet has since been deleted. Later, WWE issued a statement saying that was an error from their social media team.

Triple H might not need NXT to be in the Draft
Coming to the brand in question, does it really need to be involved in the draft?
If all three WWE brands – Raw, SmackDown, and NXT are analyzed, then the former two need to be a part of the draft. On the other hand, the latter can do without it.

It has stacked a considerable number of names on the roster to sustain itself. Furthermore, there are Superstars who are currently shelved due to injuries.
Whenever Superstars make a transition from NXT to any other brand, WWE presents it as a surprise. Therefore, announcing it beforehand takes away the opportunity of catching fans off-guard. These are the moments that WWE capitalizes on.
Let’s take Keith Lee as an example. He lost his championship title to Karrion Kross. Immediately, everyone was of the opinion that Lee will be stuck with NXT for a while.
However, he made his Raw debut soon afterward, which shocked almost all WWE fans. In fact, the next episode reeled in better viewership as he was immediately put in a storyline with Randy Orton.

NXT is no more a stepping stone to the main roster. It is functioning as the third WWE brand. Due to this, every storyline, match, and live event is as interesting as the others.
As a matter of fact, Triple H himself has claimed that Johnny Gargano and Candice LaRae are on par with any main roster Superstar. Moreover, other Superstars such as Kyle O’Reilly, Shotzi Blackheart, and Finn Balor, make the brand a formidable professional wrestling promotion.

It might be beneficial for NXT to not be a part of the draft given that it is working with some great talents and losing them is not what Triple H wants.
