It looked as if the tables had turned, but the only thing that did turn was Ridge Holland’s ankle. While his body adjusted to Lorcan’s weight, and the pressure came onto his feet, Holland’s ankle gave way and twisted devastatingly.
He immediately gave out and dropped his foe. The officials checked up on him. He was writhing in pain and the official gestured the ‘X’ sign, indicating that something was wrong.

Ridge Holland may have suffered a big knee injury
Later, Holland was taken out of the area on a stretcher, indicating that there was some really serious damage. There has been no official confirmation on his condition as of now.
By the looks of the twist, it is highly likely that the ankle or knee is broken. The best-case scenario would be a bad sprain. Either way, we won’t see Ridge Holland in action for some time.

NXT has been plagued by injuries over the past two months. Karrion Kross is out due to a separated shoulder while Tegan Nox has a torn ACL. Finn Bálor also recently revealed that he has a broken jaw.
Now that Holland is also most likely out, we wonder who NXT will look to next. The brand has only a few strings to pull and is up to the brim of the competition with AEW.
