Pat McAfee Shoots on Internet Claims of Cody Rhodes’ Torn Pec as Fake: “He Was in S**t Ton of Pain”

Cody Rhodes continues his winning streak over Seth Rollins after defeating him at Hell in a Cell. Rollins was defeated by Rhodes for the third time in a PPV encounter. Moreover, Rhodes’ injury was one of the game’s talking points.

Although many assumed it was Cell’s makeup, WWE SmackDown announcer Pat McAfee debunked all of those claims and disclosed Rhodes’ injuries. Pat McAfee recently discussed Hell in a Cell in-depth on his show.

In addition, McAfee, while discussing the Rhodes vs Rollins match, stated, “So they’re kind of being vague about that [Rhodes Injury]. They’re just saying in a previous brawl or workout or something happened nobody knows. A lot of people thought that was makeup. Like that’s what your body actually does when you tear your s**t.

McAfee added, “Early it looked like he was in a s**t ton of pain and then he clicked into some sort of I don’t give a f**k I think because unless they shot that thing up with everything you could possibly shoot. Which would hurt so bad, by the way, just the shooting up part of it would hurt.”

Additionally, McAfee stated that prior to the match, there were rumors of someone being injured. McAfee initially assumed it was done to generate excitement for the contest. However, he was taken aback when Rhodes removed his American Nightmare jacket.

Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins delivered a fantastic Pay-Per-View event for the third time. Rhodes stunned the WWE fans when he removed his coat, revealing a bruised chest. Additionally, Rollins began to dominate the bout straight away by targeting Rhodes’ injuries.

However, Rhodes took control of the battle in the middle, attacking Rollins with one after the other blows, and gradually gained momentum. Both superstars put up a tremendous effort to win the fight. Despite being in excruciating pain, Rhodes refused to give up and fought to the end of the match. Consequently, he came out as the winner of the bout.
