Therefore, how can one miss his remarks on the current hot topic which is the upcoming match between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes for the WWE Universal Champion title? 

The controversial yet insightful comments by ‘The Wise Man’ have always attracted traction. Even one of his views on The American Nightmare and The Head of Table, facing each other at the grandest stage, was quite reasonable. He explained the impact of WrestleMania 39 on both contenders. His statements made it clear to everyone that it won’t be any usual match but a “Big task to accomplish” for both of them. 

Heyman targeted Cody Rhodes via social media

Now, a few days later, he again put out his opinion that can be considered as a warning for Rhodes. On his Instagram story, Heyman shared a cartoon portraying The Tribal chief, holding a small boy looking like Sami Zayn, by his hair. The sketch indicated Roman’s win over Zayn in the Elimination Chamber. However, when the Special Counsel shared this post on his story, he mentioned Cody while warning him about WrestleMania 39.

His words are a clear indication that Rhodes could face a brutal loss at the hand of the Head of the Table. However, this wasn’t the only time he targeted Rhodes. 

Paul Heyman emotionally destroyed The American Nightmare

In an episode of Monday Night RAW, Cody thanked Heyman for helping out his father the Rhodes family was financially broke by offering The American Dream to appear in ECW. But these warm words weren’t enough to melt the heart of the wily Heyman, who then shared the last conversation he had with Dusty Rhodes. 

Heyman told Rhodes, “I’ll tell you this one personally. In my last conversation with your dad, he told me you were his favorite son, but Roman Reigns was the son he always wanted.”

These words of the Special Counsel were enough to enrage Rhodes. Thus, he clearly established that since Heyman made things personal, it will be Reigns who will pay for it at WrestleMania.
