The phrase, ‘pulling out the big guns’ is often thrown around in WWE. On Raw, WWE had no option but to resort to the biggest gun they have. Triple H made his way to the ring to kick off the show.

He was talking about the times being difficult when Randy Orton cut him off. After their confrontation turned physical, the Game accepted Orton’s challenge to a match.

There can be multiple reasons for Triple H to make his return to WWE and the ring on such short notice. First off, the bad news surrounding Drew McIntyre‘s positive COVID-19 test foiled WWE’s pre-determined plans. Reports state that along with him, several other superstars have also tested positive for the virus.

That Triple H had to get into the ring was proof that the show needed a saving grace. Orton vs McIntyre was a blockbuster main event that would have had fans talking about it for days. Their rivalry was one of the best and most intriguing of 2020, and their match would have been nothing short of superb.

He might be a surprise entrant in the Royal Rumble. Randy has officially entered the match, and if not the Fiend, the Game is definitely going to cost him the chance to head to WrestleMania. If not Orton, the Game might look to face some younger talent and elevate them. We saw Keith Lee interact with Triple H backstage, and that is a match we would love to see.
