When you put the experience and legacy of Dwayne Johnson and John Cena together, they are two of the biggest legends in the industry. So comparing yourself to these two masterclass performers is a way bigger deal. But this star, who is making big strides in AEW, could strive for the same thing in the future.

Johnson went from being the biggest WWE star in the world and transformed his career into full-blown acting. And unsurprisingly, he nailed it in a few years. On the other hand, Cena became the face of WWE and stayed like that for more than a decade. Even after being comfortable in the top position, he switched careers and is now doing amazing in the Hollywood industry. But will this AEW top star be able to reach its height?

On the ‘Pardon My Take’ podcast, MJF rooted his own horn. He said, “This is the most important match of my entire career. What wrestling fans don’t understand is this is also possibly the most important match in the history of our sport. This could be the potential crowning of the next face–of the next generation–of professional wrestling.”

One of the original AEW talent who rose to fame in 2019 because of his inert qualities, MJF is a gold old-fashioned wrestling character. His character is all about showing his skills, both in the ring and outside it, to magnify his brilliance onto others. Even in just around 2 years, he is a better heel than most of the ex-WWE crowd that joined AEW in 2021-22.
