Kevin Owens is one of the most talented pro wrestlers in WWE right now. Owens is a former NXT Champion and also a former WWE Universal Champion. Blessed with extreme mic skills, Owens is a complete package of what pro wrestling needs.

Over the years, Kevin Owens has earned enough popularity from the fans. He is loved as a heel and as a baby face too. The 38-year-old has a huge list of accomplishments, among which the biggest is maintaining Night 1 of WrestleMania 38; a feat that every superstar dreams of.

Recently, after CM Punk erupted at the AEW Media scrum and blamed one-half of the ‘Young Bucks’ to be in contact with wrestlers outside of AEW. Punk blamed Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks for spreading lies against him.

However, one post that shook everyone was that of Kevin Owens. The timing was uncanny, as Owens took to Twitter to post a picture of him and Stone Cold from the Night 1 main event of WrestleMania 39. Several people took that as a dig toward CM Punk on his inability to main event WrestleMania even once.

Fans had a lot to say about the post.

Some fans initially believed, the AEW media scrum to be kayfabe, but now felt that it was indeed a shoot interview.

Fans even complimented and started congratulating Kevin Owens for main-eventing WrestleMania.

Further, fans had various opinions.

Many felt Owens took a dig against CM Punk. Additionally, he was a former stable mate of the Young Bucks and Adam Cole and is still friends with many on the AEW roster.

At the 5th September edition of Monday Night Raw, Kevin Owens spoke to SmackDown host Megan Morant. Owens said that his biggest success in WWE came when he made his debut in the company and won various championships. He stated he would like to be a champion soon.

Owens continued, “I wanna be Champion in WWE again, and there’s a lot of titles I’m gunning for, I’m gunning for all of them.”

He then asked Meghan Morant if she was going to be on SmackDown this week, which Morant approved. Owens then told her, “If you see Roman Reigns, can you do me a favor? Can you remind him that owes me?”

The former WWE Universal Champion thus took a dig at Roman Reigns and challenged him for a potential match in the future.
