Randy Orton has been making rounds in his storyline on RAW. He is on a warpath since his “Legend Killer” gimmick resurfaced, and is leveling anything in his path.

So far, “The Viper” has defeated Edge, Christian, and Big Show among others to prove his point. This Randy Orton is the best we’ve ever seen in years. This is prime Orton.

With many fans claiming that he is the best heel to grace the company for a long time, WWE has no answer for him. In simpler terms, Randy Orton is the best heel in the business with no one on an equal level to face.

“The Legend Killer” has probably wiped out most if not all legends on the main roster right now. His approval rating as a heel has sky-rocketed. However, since the untimely tricep injury of his arch-rival Edge, WWE has been trying to bridge the gap between the storyline.

Now that Orton has pretty much exhausted the roster, here are some of the few left that can stop the wrath of “The Viper”

1.Drew McIntyre

Inarguably the best competitor and most viable candidate on this list, Drew McIntyre is the force that could put Orton to sleep. “The Scottish Psychopath” has been on a rampage himself.

Ever since his WWE Championship reign began, he has defeated a large number of challenges. The pile of bodies keeps stacking up around him.

McIntyre also admitted in an interview in June that he would like to face Randy Orton at SummerSlam. This would undoubtedly be a dream match come true for the fans, who would finally get to see Orton fight someone with the same stature.

The two unstoppable men will make the clash mouthwatering, and we can only expect the best ratings. This storyline will serve as the perfect fill-in until Edge recovers.

2.Brock Lesnar

“The Beast Incarnate” has not been seen in the ring since his loss at WrestleMania which was a long time ago. WWE needs him to come back to revive RAW ratings.

What better to do than reignite the heated rivalry between Randy Orton and Brock Lesnar. The two met once before and it was a show of dominance by Lesnar.

Now that Orton has never looked better and has been more vocal about his talents, Lesnar might decide that enough is enough. He will surely want to remind Orton who the king of the RAW roster is.

Although Lesnar’s return is nowhere on the cards right now, WWE needs to consider bringing him back sooner rather than later. His presence will definitely bring about a rise in ratings.

3.Edge

The prodigal son may return after all. Edge has been out of action since his match against Orton at Backlash. This was primarily due to a torn tricep injury.

The medical staff revealed the news that he would not be able to compete for at least 3 months. This news put a screeching halt to the potential greatest storyline ever.

WIth SummerSlam approaching, you never know if Edge just shows up to finish the job. Edge is one of the few Superstars left that can defeat Orton and end his reign of terror.

He may just make a surprise return to fix a match at SummerSlam, so fingers crossed.

Randy Orton’s next course of action- a speculation

The man that has been standing by Randy’s side since his win over Edge is Ric Flair. “The Nature Boy” has been with Orton like Paul Heyman with Brock Lesnar.

However, you must consider the fact that Flair is one of the biggest legends in WWE. Randy Orton is after all “The Legend Killer”. Imagine if he turns on Ric Flair himself and adds the Hall Of Famer to the long list of legends he has vanquished.

There is no telling what goes on in the mind of “The Viper”. We just don’t have the technology. We will have to wait and see what WWE has planned for the best heel in the business right now.
