Lana emerged as the top contender for the WWE Women’s Raw Championship title on last week’s episode of Monday Night Raw. On tonight’s episode of Raw, she got dominated by the current champion, Asuka.

Lana entered the ring first, followed by Asuka, and the battle began with some tough blows.

Both of them continued to subdue one another. Lana got her fair chance to dominate Asuka, but the current champion did not wait too long to show the WWE Universe her true abilities.

After sparring with each other for a while, Asuka finally got Lana into the Asuka lock. This is when the audience knew it was over for the Ravishing Russian. Lana tapped out within a couple of seconds, and Asuka kept the WWE Raw Women’s Championship title.

Nia Jax did not spare Lana after her loss

This is not where Lana’s pain ended. Right after Asuka was declared the reigning champion, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler appeared in the ring. The current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions first took out Asuka while Lana was still recovering from the aftermath of the Asuka Lock.

Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler cleared the commentators’ table, and Nia Jax put Lana through the table. All over again. This is the fifth time that WWE has concluded a showdown between Lana and Nia Jax with the former going through the table.

The company has received significant criticism from the fans because of their actions and behaviour towards her. Rusev (Miro), her husband and former WWE Superstar, has spoken up about this as well. However, he believes that Lana is a tough girl and no matter what the situation, she will fight through and not give up.

Lana herself agreed that even after everything that WWE has put her through, she continued to work hard so she gets her due return.
