Ricochet Responds to Rumors of Him Leaving WWE

Recently, a rumor surfaced that WWE Superstar Ricochet was leaving the company. However, the high-flyer reassured fans on Twitter that he is not leaving. He then blasted websites for using clickbait-y news.

Ricochet denies WWE departure rumors

The rumors come from a recent Wrestlevotes report. The report said that a wrestler was planning to leave the company after their contract expires. Another account, @SoDuTw on Twitter, said it was none other than Ricochet. His contract with WWE expires in January next year.

However, Ricochet recently took to Twitter and blasted all the rumors. He called websites out and asked them to fact check before you just blast some trash on your website for some clicks?”

Ricochet’s WWE Run is less than satisfactory

Well, even if the rumors were true, Ricochet’s departure would have been totally justified. Before WWE, he had a great run in Lucha Underground and New Japan Pro Wrestling. Therefore, fans wished to see more for him as he signed with WWE.

He has shown immense potential as a solo wrestler in NXT. However, since his move into the main roster, the wrestler is being used as a jobber.

Ricochet enjoyed a United States Championship reign and even got a title opportunity against Brock Lesnar. However, he lost, and then his glory days were over.

Recently, he got paired up with Cedric Alexander and Apollo Crews. But then, Alexander betrayed him and Crews to join the Hurt Business. Looking at the latter’s involvement with the Retribution, Alexander and Ricochet’s storyline is presumably dead.

Despite being a great wrestler, it is sad to see Ricochet getting shoved. However, since he is not going anywhere, hopefully, WWE will appreciate him with a good storyline and a title reign.
