When it was announced that Shawn Michaels was coming to WWE Raw, everyone knew the fate that awaited him. As expected, he was punt kicked by Randy Orton in a vicious display of his mean streak.

To be honest, HBK brought this upon himself. He was offered help by Drew McIntyre. However, Michaels believed that this was his score to settle due to The Viper’s assault on his mentor Ric Flair.

As a result, he walked out to the ring alone. Michaels delivered a characteristically brilliant promo, detailing how Randy had been ungrateful in his conduct. The greatest wrestler of all time had brought him under his wing and he paid him back in a dastardly manner.

Well, you don’t call out the lion in his den and expect not to be eviscerated. As Michaels prepared to walk out of the ring, Randy Orton delivered an “RKO outta nowhere.” Without wasting any time, “the apex predator” nailed Michaels with a punt.

However, Drew McIntyre had had enough. On his watch, he wouldn’t let Randy destroy one legend after another. He rushed to the ring and brought the fight to Orton. In fact, he overpowered him and threw him out of the ring.

Unfortunately, as he checked on Shawn Michaels, Orton reappeared and delivered an RKO to “The Scottish Psychopath”. The Viper then slithered away, observing the carnage that he had left in his wake.

I don’t know about you, but I would love to see this as a set up for Triple H’s return. The Game is incredibly close to both Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels. Hence, he would be dying to teach Orton a lesson in respect.

It seems like a lot of fans on Twitter agree with this sentiment.

WWE Universe want Triple H to destroy Randy Orton

Twitter was full of requests to see Triple H back on TV. A prospective feud between him and Randy Orton is certainly mouth watering.
