WWE really maxed out its content with a very successful kick off of NXT TakeOver 31. We saw a series of great matches that once again reminded us of just how vital NXT is to the WWE system. One of the best moments of the night was seeing Ember Moon make a return to the ring.

The Superstar had been absent from the ring for months now. Ember moon has finally returned to WWE after over a year since her career threading injury.

There was a huge mystery character to be unveiled for NXT. A warning video was released earlier to mark the surprise.Much like SmackDown’s mystery woman, NXT’s one was set to make an appearance.

Following Io Shirai’s successful title defines against Candice LeRae, the camera shifted to a scene outside the arena. We could see the motorcycle pull up, and a lean figure with a jacket got off.

We still couldn’t identify the character even when it came to the light as it was still wearing its helmet. It soon became apparent that this was a female Superstar.

As she entered the ringside area, the helmet was taken off and it was none other than Ember Moon! She was back, and she’s here for the gold.

Toni Storm’s shock return took the spotlight away from Ember Moon

Even though Toni Storm also shadowed her return by announcing her comeback as well, fans are glad that Moon is back.

After making a huge debut on Monday Night Raw, fans could not hear enough of Ember Moon. She quickly made Alexa Bliss, the then Women’s Champion her target.

After notching victories over Bliss on two different occasions, Ember Moon was set to go all the way. However, in September last year she suffered a sever ACL injury which was deemed to be career-threatening.

However, after a year, she’s back and ready to take out the NXT roster this time. Fans have a lot of expectations from Ember Moon as the next phase of her career begins.
