WWE may be seeing a decline in the quality of its segments on the shows. Their Twitter feuds on the other hand, never seem to age. In a recent post on Twitter, Renee Young hit back at Bayley in a to and fro social media punching contest, arguably started by CM Punk.

It all stemmed out from a podcast involving Young, CM Punk, and Booker T. During the talk, CM Punk proposed the idea of Renee Young fighting a match against SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley.

Young welcomed the idea as you can see in the tweet attached below. She also said that she was in the best shape of her life and didn’t have any gear.

Quick to respond was Bayley herself, who made it a point to reply to the conversation on her twitter handle. Bayley has made it her goal in life to take the heel character to the brink. And she does do it perfectly. In the post, she targeted Young’s words in Bayley-est fashion.

The feud could be big news for Raw Underground

Renee Young replied soon enough, and teasingly challenged Bayley to a match on Raw Underground. The stipulation was that the loser would shave their hair off. Since Bayley and Young share the same Bob-cut hairstyle, it got branded as a ‘bob match’ by Young.

CM Punk later replied with a gif of his own.

Since Raw Underground has just begun operating, they could use a major promo like this. The bob match will be a great stipulation to attract viewers to the show, and will also highlight the theme of Raw Underground perfectly.

However, taking Bayley off the main storyline, even if it’s for a side match isn’t something WWE would go for right now. If they do manage to do it, then great!

Renee Young and Bayley seem to have finally erupted over their cold war, and as CM Punk rightfully put it, let the bobs hit the floor.
