“You Changed My Life”: WWE and Rival Company Stars Unite to Bid Emotional Adieu to Triple H

‘The Game’ Triple H officially announced his in-ring retirement while speaking to Stephen A. Smith on ESPN. WWE earlier noted his condition as a “cardiac event,” but Triple H stated that it almost killed him.

During the interview, Triple H revealed that he suffered viral pneumonia and inflamed lungs, which saw him cough up blood. However, after several tests and medical attention, it was discovered that he had a serious condition and had to visit the emergency room.

‘The Game’ never wrestled after that and announced he wouldn’t compete anymore, as he has a defibrillator in his chest. Hence, his 27-year in-ring career has come to an end.

WWE Superstar reacts to Triple H’s wrestling career!

During his legendary run, Triple H has been involved with many performers. In addition, he was also a mentor in his brainchild brand, i.e. NXT. So, naturally, professional wrestlers from all wrestling companies took to social media and reacted to his retirement.

The EST of WWE Bianca Belair shared an emotional tweet bidding farewell to Triple H’s wrestling career.

The Miz came forward and appreciated The Game for sharing a ring with him. The things that The Miz learned from Triple H overwhelmed him.

Former Raw Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley is among those female wrestlers recruited and trained under Triple H in his NXT brand.

“From being the reason I started watching @WWE, to the reason I made it further in the business. Thank you for everything @TripleH,” Rhea Ripley wrote.

Even the two-time WWE Hall of Famer, Ric Flair, who has been a part of the infamous Evolution heel stable, also shared his love for The Game.

Raw Superstar Alexa Bliss thanked Triple H for her in-ring character. She wrote, “The man who came up with the concept of ‘Alexa’s playground’ so talented in and out of the ring. Thank you for everything @TripleH. What an incredible in-ring career #ThankYouTripleH.”

Triple H influenced professional wrestlers from other companies

Former WWE Superstars who are currently a part of rival companies also came forward to greet Triple H’s retirement. This included the likes of Andrade El Idolo, Matt Hardy, Miro, Adam Cole, Alberto Del Rio, and others.

Even though Paul Levesque may have announced his in-ring retirement, he will still be a part of WWE. He currently holds the position of Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy & Development of WWE.

The wrestling world thought that eventually, The Game would at least have an official last match. Unfortunately, that seems longer than gone.
