The Rock’s first comic book film, Black Adam, is scheduled for release in October. Many people already think of The Rock as the DCEU’s future. However, the Black Adam actor and Hart will first appear in their upcoming DC League of Super-Pets.

Hart shared a movie poster on Instagram to show his excitement at getting back together with The Rock. Feels good to be back on the big screen with my brother @therock…Mark the date damn it!!!!!!!”

The upcoming animated film DC League of Super-Pets is based on the DC Comics superhero team Legion of Super-Pets. DC League of Super-Pets will be released in theatres on July 29, 2022. The COVID-19 outbreak pushed back the film’s original release date, May 21, 2021 .

The Rock has performed a voice for ‘Krypto the Superdog’, Superman’s pet Labrador retriever from Krypton. Whereas, Hart will voice Ace the Bat-Hound, a dog with superhuman strength and invulnerability. He eventually takes on the role of Batman’s dog.
