Ric Flair had a long and fruitful professional wrestling career. Throughout his professional wrestling career, he battled against top superstars in the professional wrestling world, including Goldberg and Bret Hart.
During a recent episode of the Ric Flair Wooooo Nation Uncensored Podcast, Ric Flair and Mark Madden talked about Bret Hart’s injury that he suffered in a match against Goldberg.

Referring to this incident, Mark Madden asked Ric Flair whether Goldberg was safe to work with. Addressing this question, Ric Flair said, “Well, to me he was very safe. I have been kicked in the head by him too. Everybody is gonna get kicked or hit in the head. So what may have affected Bret unfortunately, did not affect me.”
The WWE Hall of Famer noted wrestling is a very physical sport and they all get kicked in the head, suffer cracked vertebrae or cracked ribs.
“Wrestling is a very physical, tough sport. When people don’t understand that, it’s ridiculous. Because no matter whether it’s choreographed or not, these kids put their bodies on the line every day,” he added.
