‘Rock Bottom to DCEU’: Fans Turn Their Back on Dwayne Johnson After Massive Announcement

Dwayne Johnson is one of the most loved individuals in Hollywood and WWE. But he also faces criticism from the fans. The Brahma Bull has been making a lot of efforts recently to promote his upcoming movie, Black Adam. But it looks like it might backfire on him as fans raised questions about Dwayne Johnson’s ego.
Recently, in an Instagram post, Dwayne Johnson called the DC Extended Universe “The Black Adam DC Universe”. As soon as this post reached out to the audience, they had some hostile reactions.

In his post, Dwayne Johnson noted, “At @sevenbucksprod we have major plans to build out the BLACK ADAM DC UNIVERSE and now the DC SUPER PETS UNIVERSE with our partners @wbpictures & @dccomics – and SUPER PETS & BLACK ADAM is just the beginning.”

Immediately after this post, fans gave some hostile reactions to Dwayne Johnson’s claims on social media. They criticized the former WWE Champion for making the DCEU all about him, Black Adam.

A fan noted that the fact that Johnson called the DCEU “The Black Adam Universe” is the height of narcissism. While another one mentioned that after Johnson called the DCEU “The Black Adam Universe”, they will not watch the movie anymore.
Spot on, but this is not the fault of fans this time.
It is the insane ego and marketing failures of the now gone WB execs who thought The Rock was their answer for poor decision making.

Someone noted that they would refuse to see Black Adam if Batgirl gets cancelled, despite being a DC fan, and shared hoped that other DC fans will also not support WB if they treat the filmmakers in this manner.

Another fan went all out to fire shots at Dwayne Johnson and his movie, Black Adam. Following the cancellation of Batgirl, they claimed Warner Bros will now reshoot the entire film with Dwayne Johnson.
