WrestleMania 39 is just around the corner and WWE is gearing up for the company’s greatest program of the year. Every year we see storylines get their conclusive ending at the biggest event, shed a few tears, and witness some amazing wrestling. But before all of that comes the marketing for this big event. While WWE has many ways to market the Showcase of the Immortals, this time is going to be different starring Rhea Ripley, Roman Reigns and Maryse.

WrestleMania is going to be held in L.A., which means WrestleMania is going to Hollywood this year. Hollywood is one of the benchmarks of American history, just like WWE. So, it makes sense that putting the two together would create magic and Triple H is already on it.

Roman Reigns, Rhea Ripley, and top stars recreate iconic scenes as WrestleMania goes Hollywood

Starting from Elimination Chamber, we saw Seth Rollins as Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker and Becky Lynch as Christian Bale’s Batman in a video as part of the promotion for WrestleMania. The two recreated a scene that DC fans had been clamoring about ever since watching 2019’s Joker. And now WWE released other ads recreating iconic Hollywood scenes from history.

The Brawling Brutes and Drew McIntyre recreate the waxing scene from the movie, The 40-year-old Virgin. McIntyre in place of Paul Rudd, Sheamus in place of Seth Rogen, Butch in place of Romany Malco, and Ridge Holland in place of Steve Carrell. After that, Bianca Belair and Montez Ford recreated the iconic Titanic scene, replacing Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet.

But the most accurate has to be Roman Reigns as Tommy DeVito, the ultimate boss recreating the clown line from the bar scene in Goodfellas.

Fans react to WrestleMania 39 commercial

The WWE Universe loved the superstars cosplaying several Hollywood movies and series. They shared their reactions below in the comment of the YouTube video.

Glad they brought back the parodies these were great for WrestleMania 21☝️

Roman Reigns as Joe Pesci is the one thing I never knew I needed the most in my life

Wow! Titanic was my favorite and Bianca Belair and Montez Ford good masterpiece. It hit all the right notes with it’s writing, acting, execution, and the mesmerizing score by Bianca is Rose and Montez is Jack. Damn What a good of an actor.

Damn!!! Soo nostalgic 🔥🔥 I hope they recreate also the “are you talking to me” scene!! 🔥💖

These were so much fun at Mania 21, so I love that they’ve brought them back. This years show is going to be amazing .

After years, finally I love how everything seems to go along so good. I’m really happy with the creative decisions and hoping for WM 39 to be a Banger.

WWE did the same thing back during WrestleMania 21

This isn’t the first time that WWE went to Hollywood and recreated such movie scenes. The last time, in 2005, WWE did the same thing with WrestleMania 21. At the time, we saw Stone Cold Steve Austin, Big Show, John Cena, Ric Flair, and even the current Head of Creative, Triple H, recreate scenes from Hollywood.

We can’t wait for WWE to come to Los Angeles and give us one of the best WrestleMania shows. These advertisements have everyone gripped to see more from their favorite stars.

One thing that is similar between the two is that WWE isn’t trying to be serious about these. Your favorite WWE stars replacing actors in iconic movies is a campy and out-there approach, and it is the best way to sell a collaboration like WWE and Hollywood. Not everything has to be about grit and honor. Sometimes, wrestlers can just have fun and Triple H understands that.
