Live audiences will be returning to WWE after a period of one year. At WrestleMania 37, 25,000 fans will return to Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida for the two-night event. Amidst all the preparations, WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns has approved WWE’s safety precautions in the post-pandemic era.

While speaking to TMZ Sports, Roman Reigns revealed he was not worried about fans returning to WWE. Last year, he opted out of WrestleMania as he did not want to expose himself and his family to the virus. Notably, Reigns has already fought a long battle with Leukemia, and he is not willing to take any risks.

“I think with all the safety protocols that we’ve established since I came back,” Reigns revealed. “With all the precautions that we take to make sure I’m isolated to where I’m not heavily interacting with anyone outside of the people that I’m actually in the ring with, all the way to the weekly testing, I don’t think WrestleMania is going to be any different. You know, our safety precautions are second to none.”

From separated pods to cashless concessions, WWE is trying to provide the utmost security to its Superstars. They are “trying to create that level of safety for everybody. We’re also trying to create an atmosphere and an experience that they’ll never forget.”

Roman Reigns is excited to go back to “normalcy”

Since his heel turn in WWE, Reigns has not performed in front of a crowd. While Reigns has unleashed a reign (pun not intended) of dominance since his return, the live audience has not met “The Tribal Chief.”

I enjoy every performance, that’s something that I learned along the way, through all the hardships and dealing with health issues, and stuff like that, and having those experiences… we have to enjoy every single day that we get.”

It’s gonna be really cool to get back to kind of a little bit of normalcy and get some fans in the stadium and really gauge them and see where we stand with the body of work that we’ve presented since SummerSlam.”

“So, it’s one thing to be able to see it on the internet and social media, and stuff like that, but to be able to feel the crowd and let them show how they feel about their Tribal Chief, I guess [laughs], it’ll be cool.”
